About Global Entrepreneurship Week
Global Entrepreneurship Week is an annual celebration that unites over 40,000 participants and 20,000 partners in more than 180 countries. As the largest global event series for entrepreneurship, it serves as a dynamic platform for entrepreneurs, educators, policy-makers, and innovators to inspire, connect, and take action. This year the theme emphasizes the role of entrepreneurship in revitalizing economies and fostering sustainable solutions to the biggest challenges facing the world.

2025 Global Entrepreneurship Week
Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025 was a landmark year for Sri Lanka, uniting over 50,000+ participants and 200+ partners. With 1,864 events activated across all 25 districts, Sri Lanka secured an outstanding 4th place in the global GEN Country Rankings, celebrating the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and ecosystem building.
2024 Global Entrepreneurship Week
The theme for Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2024 was "Entrepreneurship is for Everyone". This theme promoted the idea that entrepreneurship is accessible to all individuals, regardless of their background, industry, or location, and emphasizes inclusivity in building an entrepreneurial culture. The week also focused on fostering innovation and collaboration within entrepreneurial ecosystems.

2022 Global Entrepreneurship Week
The main themes for Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2022 were Education, Ecosystems, Inclusion, and Policy. While the overarching themes were global, specific regions like Sri Lanka focused on these four pillars to foster collaboration and empower entrepreneurs. Some local organizers, like the one in Trinidad and Tobago, also highlighted specific sub-themes like Embracing the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs
